Position Purpose
The Senior Media Producer is a key member of the Geisel School of Medicine's Creative Services team and is responsible for leading and working with all aspects of video and audio production, including pre-production, on-location shoots, digital editing, and processing for online and mobile distribution, as well as live-streaming events. The incumbent is a key member in the planning and development of the Geisel's video projects and works closely with faculty, staff, and external partners to develop compelling and innovative content for various digital platforms.

Bachelor's degree required and a minimum of 4 to 6 years of related experience.

Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
- Experience with a range of digital video and audio technologies as well as traditional A/V technologies required.
- Experience with a range of cameras including DSLR, 4K, lens, lighting, and microphones required.
- Experience with software and hardware for video processing, editing, online distribution, and web and mobile technologies, including Adobe Creative Cloud: Premiere, Media Encoder required.
- Experience with digital video as part of an educational multimedia production environment required.
- Experience using Mac and Windows computers required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to deliver presentations on related topics required.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and deadlines required.
Bachelor's degree required and a minimum of 4 to 6 years of related experience.

- Executes majority of project plans developed in collaboration with Director of Creative Services, Geisel Communications & Marketing and the Medical and Healthcare Advancement, especially around video shoots, edits, and media delivery.
- Continuously monitors changes in technology to determine direction of future media servers, systems, and applications.
- Develops and maintains documentation for best practices and established workflows for the creation and production of digital media and related assets.
