Job Summary:

The Project Coordinator – Temp is responsible for supporting the External Relations team as we continue to onboard and implement Workamajig software to structuralize and streamline our functional operations moving forward.
The primary role of the Project Coordinator is to act as an internal point person for External Relations team members to drive project management and related software development changes, in coordination with Neeley IT, vendors, project requestors inside the Neeley School of Business and occasionally, the larger constituent network.
The overarching goal of the role is to strategically develop, implement and drive integrated SOPs within the existing software system in order to give the External Relations team a stronger framework for success and growth. Through this, the role will assit in driving the school's strategic goals as it pertains to reliances on the External Relations functions of marketing, communications, events, alumni and constituent relations. Further, these efforts will advance the entire TCU Neeley School of Business strategic vision being accomplished, fully in alignment with university strategic plans and parent brand.

Duties & Essential Job Functions:

1) Learns and stays informed of the Neeley School organization, its employees, and its structure.
2) Tracks and provides accountabilities for task management, project assets, scheduling and meeting of deadlines across projects and production jobs.
3) Tracks communication that is relevant for planning and feedback within workstreams.
4) Notifies applicable teams or managers of any project issues or challenges.
5) In collaboration with the Workamajig software implementation team, Neeley IT and External Relations, drives documentation and creation of templates, plans, and frameworks for handling new and existing projects to support efforts of streamlining operations.
6) Documents, creates, and refines work flows.
7) Develops the foundational skills to become a key facilitator for the workflow management system, Workamajig.
8) Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree
• 3 years of full-time work experience in project management or administrative support
• Prior experience with project management software

Preferred Education & Experience:

• Business or Marketing degree
• PMP certification or similar training
• Prior experience with Workamajig software
• Experience in a marketing or communications agency, company or department
• Experience using CRM platforms
